New developments make our electric combi probably the most economic to run in the world. Not only does it have dual controls for reliability but it now has dual storage. In the winter it has 215ltr of storage working at 70 – 80 deg C. In the summer it becomes a small 50ltr store working at 60 -65 deg C yet still has 9kw of power (like an electric shower) if a high water demand is required. Better still our solar combi would probably use no electricity at all during the summer.

The latest update for the Heatwell easy fit electric show. This unit is ideal for refurbished homes with existing electric showers.

For refurbished homes with existing electric showers. Heatwells control panel is pre-wired to receive the optional electric shower current sensor. The current sensor would be fitted to the 230v supply for the electric shower, most likely in the consumer unit. A no volts twin signal wire connected from the current sensor to the Heatwell control panel is all that is required.

When the electric shower is switched on the current is detected and the Heatwell Electric Combi reduces its power consumption by 9kw, thus avoiding a possible current overload of the incoming 230v mains supply. Very simple to install, low cost device.

I purchased my Heatwell Combination boiler whilst renovating an old coach house. This was a self build project and I had no previous experience of electric central heating systems.

The unit came complete with all that was needed to connect to the house water and heating pipe work. Installation was simple but help was only a phone call away if required.

Tom and his team have all been first class and even when I have spoken to Tom regarding the finer details of the construction and electronic controls (just for my own knowledge) he has been a willing mentor.

The boiler is wonderful it’s been working now, silently, for six months and I’ve not touched it. The engineering quality is excellent. The company is exceptional, offering first rate help and product support by very friendly experts. No other company comes close.

Hi. With the price of oil and gas always increasing I wanted an electric combi boiler, thinking this will be the cheapest to run in the future. As it turns out it probably is cheaper already. I got the Heatwell boiler installed along with a wet central heating system. I had issues with the installers and they didn’t fit my boiler correctly, leaving me high and dry.

I called Heatwell for advice and was blown away when they came and rectified the fault for me, even though the problem was nothing to do with them. I am now extremely happy with my boiler as I have hot water on tap any time of the day (which is essential with a young child), I run my shower from it and the heating is much better than the storage units I previously had. I have never experienced customer service like Heatwells and won’t hesitate recommending them to others.

We purchased a Heatwell boiler to run our new wet radiator system and have been extremely pleased with both the boiler and the after sales service. Both the plumber and the electrician who fitted the boiler were able to access technical help easily and found all at Heatwell friendly and very helpful. We also purchased an air source heat pump from them, to supplement the output on the boiler, and again found the advice and after sales service excellent. We even had a visit from the boss to check that all was well!
